Modern Slavery in Thurrock
Delivered in partnership Thurrock Community Safety Partnership, Thurrock Safeguarding Adult Board and Essex Police we are pleased to be able to offer this event on modern slavery. We have a range of guest speakers including Justice and Care, Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority as well as local speakers to give the Thurrock context.

Targeted audience
Anybody who moves in circles that include people – male and female – who could potentially be suffering exploitation, including local authority staff, police officers, housing staff, GPs and NHS staff, and representatives of churches, faith and community groups, the third sector and voluntary organisations.

- Give practical information on what to do if you come across a case of modern slavery
- Have the opportunity to discuss a case of modern slavery
- Highlight where victims can access support
- Increase awareness of the resources available
- Network with colleagues in other agencies
